Susan Kuhnhausen survived the attempt to kill her

How police connected Edward Haffey to Susan Kuhnhausen’s husband ?
That night Portland police found Edward Haffey’s body in Susan Kuhnhausen’s house. Police found yellow gloves, a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup and diabetes pills near Edward Haffey’s body.
Edward Haffey had made a daily schedule and on September 4 he had a conversation with Michael with a phone number. It did not take long for police to find out that Edward Haffey and Michael worked at an adult video store. Edward Haffey was arrested in 1994 for murdering his ex-girlfriend. Edward Haffey had already spent 9 years in prison. Edward Haffey was released from prison in 2003.
Michael went into hiding after plotting his wife’s murder. The police found him within a week of the incident. The police kept Michael about 10 miles away from Susan Kuhnhausen’s medical center. The next day Susan Kuhnhausen filed for divorce from her husband in court and changed her name to Walters.
